Match Day Policy
Home Matches
At home matches there will be a white line or line of cones at the side of the pitch, behind which all persons other than team officials must stand.

Parents can encourage players and the team but must refrain from telling them what to do; this is the responsibility of the managers and any assistant on the team.

If you want to talk to the manager you should do so before the game or after the game never during the game or at half time unless there is an issue the manager must know about. A manager will pick a team using a number of considerations and their decision must be respected.

Parents should assist with putting up nets and taking them down accordingly if you are the first or last game in Johnstown Park. Managers appreciate this assistance.

Rubbish should be placed in bins and not left by the side of the pitch. Beggsboro AFC is a responsible club and wants to keep the park where we play clean.

Away Matches
Your manager will give as much notice as is possible of the travelling arrangements for away matches. All teams are dependent on the assistance of parents bringing players to away games. Where possible parents should try and split the task rather than the same ones always being accommodating.

A minibus can be provided at an average cost of €80 (may vary for distance etc) should it be required.

Registration and Insurance
Only players who have paid their fees can train. Players must be registered to both train and play in matches. Part of the fees is insurance and only insured players can be allowed to play and train.

Training Policy
Winter Training
Beggsboro AFC makes best efforts to provide winter training facilities. Given the cost of astro turf pitches and floodlight facilities the number of hours available has to be limited. Team managers will be consulted when a winter training schedule is being agreed and the hours allocated accordingly.

Summer training
When the nights are brighter Beggsboro AFC can use Johnstown Park for training. Care should be taken to keep the pitches in playable order. Repetitive running drills should not take place on the pitch and the goal areas should not be used.

If an area is cutting up, move to a different location.

Registration and Insurance
Only players who have paid their fees can train. Players must be registered to both train and play in matches. Part of the fees is insurance and only insured players can be allowed play and train.
