Two great wins for both Beggsboro mens teams this weekend in the cup.
Johnny Clarkes team continued their good early season form with a win at home to New Park AFC from Kilkenny. The hosts enjoying a lot of possession over the 90 minutes but a spirited New Park had a 10 minute spell to keep Beggsboro on their toes. In the end though Beggsboro winning by a 3-0 scoreline with goals from Akrim Militti , Damo Farrell and Sean Lawlor to see them comfortably through to the next round.
Chris Roche’s team also enjoyed a win on the road in the cup beating Grange Woodbine 4-1 with goals from Nathan Marshall, Jack Simpson, Josh Bradshaw and Dean Cunningham.
